keeps adding interfaces already being monitored

I have a strange issue here,

I've noticed over the last 2 weeks that after 2am Orion has been adding physical interfaces (upto 15) that it is already monitoring. It is picking on the Nokia/Checkpoint firewalls and if i remove a firewall who's interfaces its been adding, it picks on the next firewall in the list. We have an SL500 license and this behaviour has taken us from ~430 interfaces to over 500 interfaces.

Is there any way i can get Orion to stop this behaviour and recount the number of interfaces it is polling?

issue resolved by patching the application to latest release and hotfixes

i have just configured and ran an inventory report which states we have 410 interfaces & not the 536 that  the Solar Winds license system reports. we are running Orion 8.0.101.
