does anyone know offhand if there is a mib for the number of associated users per SSID?

You'll need to provide some more details - are we talking Cisco equipment ? Have you tried looking through the Cisco MIB's ?
Yep sorry should have been more specific. Yep using 1131 Cisco AP's in FAT Mode,
and a another lot controlled by a wlc.
I was trying to shortcut having to read though all the docs in case someone has already done it.
