Report to count custom field

Hi,

I use a custom field to organize my nodes (CustomLocation) i.e. England, Wales, France.  I now need to create a report to count the number of different customlocations we have.

I've been playing with SQL queries but can't get it working

Any ideas?

Hi,

if name of your custom field is "CustomLocation" then you can use following query:

SELECT CustomLocation, COUNT(*) AS NumberOfItems FROM dbo.Nodes WITH(NOLOCK) GROUP BY CustomLocation
