Alert web post-get action orion

Anybody knows how is the way to configure the body to configure web post action in a web page?

I´ve had been watching the source of the html code to find how can I get the body of the triggered alerts. but I can´t see in the html code how is the data get to print in the web page.

I need that every time that an alert is triggered send a pop up message and as second action post this message in my intranet web page---

Hi there antoniod,

If I am understanding your problem correctly it sounds as if you would like to place something on a web page and send a pop up message to the console of the Orion server every time an alert takes place.

It should not be all that difficult to achieve both of these goals. For any alert you have configured in the Orion systems manager you can take the following actions:
Send and Email / Page
Play a sound
Log the Alert to a File
Windows Event Log
Send a Syslog Message
Execute an external program
Execute an external VB script
Email a Web Page
Change a Custom Property (in the Orion database)
Text to Speech output
Send a Windows Net Message
Dial Paging or SMS service
Send an SNMP Trap
Get or Post a URL to a Web Server

I am having the same problem. I am trying to configure Orion Network Performance Manager to raise a ticket in my helpdesk program if a node goes down.

It seems the most appropriate method to do this is to Post a URL to a Web Server but I cannot work out how to configure this as it does not seem to do anything.

I have configured it as follows
1) Use HTTP POST
2) URL when Alert is Triggered - www.helpdesk.ctac/post_alert.php
3) Body to Post when Alert is Triggered - This is a test

The post_alert.php page simply has a query that says
"INSERT INTO test_table VALUES ('TestNode','TestStatus')"

If I open this page manually (in the web browser) it raises a test ticket, however when I run a Test Alert nothing happens.

I have tested that my Alert has Test Triggered by giving it a seccond event of 'Log to File' and this adds the Test Event to the file.

If anyone can suggest how to make this work, please can you let me know.

As a Temporary work around, I have used suggestions from
www2.solarwinds.net/.../topic.asp
which does work
