query for monitoring wireless access point

Hi,

I'm new to Orion Network Performance Monitor.

I added a Net Gear Wireless Access Point - WPN802 to my Orion Net. Performance Monitor .... It detected it just fine but can't detect any clients connected to it. There are about 5-10 clients connected but Orion is not showing those clients !

Besides, does Orion Show statis like signal strength/quality ?

So to avoid confusion here. For Controllers/Thin AP's the statement from Support is correct, we only support Cisco and Aruba at this time. However, for thick/autonomous AP's they should work is they support the 802dot11 MIB.

I assume you are running 9.5 correct? As long as your AP supports the 802dot11 MIB it should show the connected clients.

I logged a ticket with Support and their response is given below:

" Unfortunately at this time we only support Cisco and Aruba.

We will be adding support for NetGear and other vendors in the future"

So I guess I'll have to wait.
