Posts in this forum requiring approval?

Has something changed in these forums that has caused Discussion posts to require moderator approval?

Yesterday I tried to post a discussion and then today I took the time to type up the same discussion again and just like yesterday it told me that it required moderator approval, is this new?

If a moderator does happen to see these come across their screen, feel free to just approve the newer of the two, it's better anyway.

Hi byron--

We recently implemented a *beta* version of a spam blocker for thwack. I say beta because we are still working out a few kinks.

If I could beg your patience from you or anyone who receives these messages. I moderate them several times a day and approve those that are not spam. So they will appear, it may just take an hour or so.

In the meantime, I will continue to refine the blocker.

maybe you could stop it from becoming to much spam to you by having a white list. Or a list that check the points of the poster and is say if > 1,000, auto approve.
