Hello,
regarding the release notes of 9.2.731 there was a problem with the FS logga.
Is it necessary to reinstall the mini driver to fix this problem?
Regards
Marcus
I have the same problem with FS Logga on the version of ARM 9.2.805.
Did you find an issue to fix it ?
Florian P
Hi,
We are also having problems with the FS Logger. No data in the reports. Version ARM 9.2.805.
Very important for us. What's the deal with this mini driver? Can we fix this?
Hello Florian,
which problem do you have?
To use the fs logga the collector has to be installed on the machine where you want to log file access.
The mini filter driver is installed with the fs logga part of the colletor installer.
I don't want to interfere as I didn't open this thread but we have already deleted and reinstalled the collector including logga. Still no logging
Hi swg,
then you have to options.
1. rtfm
2. open a support case
PS: You have added a FS logga entry under scans, havn't you.
Had the same issue. In the Event-log we had the following message MINITRCUSER_ERROR_LOAD_MINITRCLIB - this error is not marked an error - only as info.
This happens when the 2013 C++ Redistributable is missing Download https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4032938/update-for-visual-c-2013-redistributable-package
Regarding to SWI Support this is not listed as requried and it`s not included in the installer, yet it is needed in many instances.
However - in our case it solved the issue
Wow, thx. It's really working again.
That's not correct. The 2013 C++ is not needed nor required. All of our FS logga installations don't have the 2013 C++ redistributable installed and work well without it.
The SWI support should investigate this.
Hi allmecht
what ever correct means - it is correct that it is not listed as required and i never installed it before. But in this case and in the case of swg it solved the issue.
As i wrote before "Regarding to SWI Support this is not listed as required and it`s not included in the installer, yet it is needed in many instances." - so this is already known to SWI Support.
Of course it should be clear what you need and why - but this is another topic. ;-)
Greetings
Daniel
