Hello all,
I am trying having problems with the Configuration Wizard, when creating the website I am getting the following error "The wizard was unable to to register the Solarwinds COM+ Application. A possible cause is the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service is disabled"
I have verified that the service is enabled but I am not having any success. Im running Windows server 2003. Please Help!!!!!!!

Are you installing it as administrator on the local machine?

Try re-installing Orion when you are logged into the console with admin account.
If you are using RDP to access the Orion server to do the install, then use the run command from your client:
run>
mstsc /console
Contact Solarwinds support if this does not work, as there are commands you can run to re-register services & com+ objects that may not have registered correctly.

Are you installing Orion via a terminal session?

Had this problem, turned out the IIS account was locked out (there was an failed login entry in the security log)

Verify that COM+ (The IIS component) is in fact installed, you may even want to try to reinstall it...
