Will like to filter event views to groups like "Network sys" or "server sys".....
In that way have dashbord view to specific department or group??

if you limit what they can view in the group when you create it then the standard events page will be automatically filtered to the limitation you placed on the group of people. you probably have a AD entry for all the departments so align the groups to the AD entries and it will be easy.
so for example create your net eng group and limit them to cisco devices only and when they look at events/top10 or what ever page it will only show them the cisco devices

The SQL filter could be used in combination with a custom property to filter only for events you want.
