I am trying to create a basic map with objects that represent cities. The object should be green if all the

child objects are green. How do you make say a Cisco router to be a child object of a city/location object?

If I drag out a device from the Cisco group and go to its properties I don't see anything that lets you

make it a child of another object.

If I understand you, I think what you want to do is create sub-maps for the cities and drag those nodes in the cities into those sub-maps and then drag the sub-maps onto the primary main map

I get it now. Thank-you. Is there a map similar to the North America map that just

has the USA? The scale of having all of North America makes it hard to place everything

in say California appear distinct.

We ship with just the couple out of the box as you have seen. Also, you can log into the customer portal and go under additional components for NPM and in that list there are some additional background you can download there. Also you can pull images from the web that you can legally use and import them in to use as backgrounds as well.
