I've got a weird one for ya'll. I manage a mixed platform network with Win2003, Solaris, Redhat and Ubuntu. I just installed two new Ubuntu 8.04 boxes and I noticed that I wasn't able to monitor the CPU and Memory utilization from Orion on them, but can see disks and network interfaces, when I do a "List Resources" in NPM. Older versions of Ubuntu (6.06 I believe) have no such problem.
They're using the same snmpd config file as all the other unix/linux boxes (i.e. the ones that work) and ubuntu's default snmpd. I have a hunch that Ubuntu changed their MIBs but I'm no snmp guru. Orion version is 9.1 sp3.
Any ideas from the gurus here?
