Busy-hour Reporting?

Wondering if you can write a custom report to report on the bandwidth utilization from the busiest hour? I have written reports on bandwidth utilization for business hours etc, but it doesn't really show a true representation of the utilization.

Brilliant product, beats openview and everything else hands down (for a small team).

I was just wondering if you have found a solution to pull out the busy-hour from all the information collected within solarwinds/netflow.

I am needing to pull busy-hour reports but also get the information from netflow to know what protocols are flowing through at my busy hour.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Just to make sure, you are talking about for a group of interfaces, for example, a report that would display the avg of the most busy hour, knowing that the busy hour is actually potentially different for each interface during that day or week teh report is applied to?

Hello there

Well what i need actually is to do the following:

suppose i have an internet router that don't have the same daily peak hours of interface utilization.

I want to be able to generate a report to see the CPU/Memory/Interface errors & Discard/... during the hour where the interface utilization "Trans Bytes + received Bytes" had the maximum value.

In other words, the report must have the following logic, but I am unable to write the SQL query correctly

select

CPU, Memory, Interface errors, .......

From

Nodes & Interfaces

Where

Time (In Hour) = (select Time from Interfaces where (TX bytes+ RC bytes) has the maximum Value)
