ICMP-only discovery of SNMP-capable devices?

Could anyone suggest a way (with Orion 10.1.2 SP1) to perform an ICMP-only Network Sonar Discovery on a large number of nodes which are SNMP-capable? This is possible when adding single nodes but not, it would seem, with bulk discoveries.

We have 3000 devices which would otherwise get discovered using our standard set of SNMP Credentials but in this instance we need minimal polling.

I presume I could delete our SNMP Credentials and let the SNMP discovery timeout but don't particularly want to do that.

If you delete all the community strings then we will just ping since we have no SNMP to send we skip it, so that is going to be your best bet.

As a feature request, it would be helpful and make matters more clearer to include the option as a checkbox "Use ICMP only".

So I tried this on 10.3.1 and I noticed that it somehow still polled the devices using "public" snmp string. Does removing the SNMP strings from the discovery actually disable SNMP?

Okay a little clarification on this topic. When I went to an existing SNMP discovery and removed the snmp strings, it still used snmp. When I created a new discovery, it worked as Brandon described. Just an FYI. Its a little bit of a head scratcher on where the first discovery got its snmp strings from since I expressly removed them.
