The web reports and server traffic reports are not the same for the same time period. What could cause this?
What I have seen is it depends on the sample interval. When I do a "every 30 min" interval I get a much lower valve on such things a packet loss then if it is on every 5 min. I would like to hear from Solarwinds but it seems it is doing an average not the highest rate within that sample period.
I think regardless of where I'm looking at the report it should reflect the same information. It shouldn't matter whether I am looking at reports from the system manager or web. The device has the same polling frequency. This is a serious flaw that has been seem in each release.
