Setting delays on alerts

I am currently monitoring CPU and memory utilization and I am receiving loads of alerts is there any way of setting the alert so that if the cpu/memory utilization goes above 90% for more than 120 secs it will then send an alert and not generate alerts every time the 90% is reached

Howie,
This is all customizable from the alerts tab in NPM.
First make sure you set the node statistics polling interval in the node details page to 120 seconds, then go to the alerts page and
configure the appropriate alert for 90%.
Then the device will have to be over 90% for 120secs. before you get an alert.
