My goal is to examine a chart of the Average Response Time & Packet Loss for specific router interfaces.
Ordinarily, via the System Manager, we add router devices. Once added, all of the interfaces are discovered and we select the specific interfaces that we wish to monitor. This process does NOT allow one to examine a chart of the Average Response Time & Packet Loss for specific router interfaces.
Here is an example of a typical router node's Average Response Time & Packet Loss chart .

Here is an example of the selected interfaces, taken from the above node.

I have added an Average Response Time & Packet Loss chart to Interface Details View for router interfaces. In the example, below, I have chosen the "FastEthernet0/1/1 - ATT&T MPLS 10Mb/FD Circuit ID M0589702 interface to examine.

This chart is NOT accurate.
If I add the specific interface, as though it were a node, the Average Response Time & Packet Loss chart looks like the following:

I have confirmed the accuracy of the above chart by pinging the interface directly.
Is there is better method that provides accurate data for individual interfaces - without having to add each interface as a specific node.?
