Can the syslog web console refresh alerter box be suppressed ?

Hi,

 

I am looking for help with the Syslog web console for Orion 9.0

 

The console is fine except for the show-stopping fact that periodically both

IE 6 and Firefox 2 display an alert that the data was produced by POST and

to press the continue or cancel buttons.

 

This behaviour makes it impossible to leave a (tuned) syslog viewer open - maybe

on a large screen - to alert operators to a surge in messages or severe messages.

 

Is there a way to make the web console (for easy deployment) NOT do this ?

The problem is that Firefox or IE6 does not allow you to disable this message, I saw a feature request there: www.firefoxanswer.com/.../353-firefox-2.html

On the same page a patch has been posted, but the link does not work, you might find it by googling a bit.

Opera does not have this popup message.
