4th column in a view?

I only found a 2 year old thread asking the same thing. Is it possible yet to add a 4th column in a view? I agree with the earlier sentiments that large screens are becoming more prevalent and more importantly, large resolutions. My laptop is 1920x1080! Same for my desktop LCD.

I think I can fake it by stuffing more items horizontally in a single column but that's kind of a kludge.

Not yet, we have some larger changes we want to make to the web console before we do this? Why? Performance is one reason, we add more and more resources to the view we need to make sure performance stays good. Also usability and user flows in the UI etc.
