Node does not support the interface MIB

How can I add a node that doesn't support the Interfaces MIB? I have a device that supports SNMP, but I can't add to Orion because it doesn't support the interfaces MIB. I wish to use this device with the Universal Device Poller but can't get the node to added to Orion.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Will Web Node Management let you add the node? It may not have the interface MIB restriction. I'm trying to find a device in our lab that doesn't support this MIB to try it myself.

Not sure what device it is but for some Windows devices reinstalling the SNMP services helps. If this is not Windows device then submit the mib to be compiled into the SW MIB database.

The device is not running Windows, it's a Dell Remote Access Controller 5.

If this is not Windows device then submit the mib to be compiled into the SW MIB database.

The Dell DRAC/ERA/RAC MIB is already part of the Orion MIB database but this device clearly does not support the interfaces MIB.

Mark, I really appreciate your quick replies but I think you may have overlooked something here. I'm not even at the point where I can define a custom poller for this device because I can't even add the node into Orion to manage it. Whenever I try to add the node from within System Manager I get the error in the screenshot above. Orion simply won't let me add the node.
