Values/status displays as a item on maps

it would be great if we can create objects which do the following, some examples are

1, if polling a 6500 chassis, the temp is displayed as a value,

2, if again polling a fan tray an icon can be displayed as green

3, polling an interface and a value exceeds a limit, i.e. polling a 100meg link and it to go red once it reachins 40meg+
