Setting up a custom mib poller takes too long

Question

I have to click on browse twice to setup a custom mib poller. The first time I click on browse to the device it takes a little while. Not real long but noticeable. The second time I click on browse to enter the OID that I want polled, it takes a LONG time. I haven't measured it yet, but on the order of 10-15 minutes. During this time the application just sits. The window doesn't update and the application appears to be in a not responding state. Is this just me or are other people having this issue? Is it solvable by an update?
