I have about 500 nodes I am monitoring. I am setting up a Network Sonar Discovery to always be on the lookout for new devices and volumes/interfaces being added.
I ran it for the first time yesterday. It came back and lists just about every server in the list as Changed. When I look at what has changed, it shows all the things I dont care to monitor in the first place. The Loopback interfaces, removable drives, floppy drives, etc.
Unfortunately, to tell NPM to ignore them, I have to click on the plus sign every single server, manually select each thing I dont want monitored and then click Add to Ignore List. I dont see any way to tell it to "Exclude all removable disks" or a way to tell it to "Only show Fixed Disks" or something similar to that.
It is just a HUGE headache trying to manually select each one on that many servers. It will take me hours to go through and do this.
Does anyone know of a way to do it, and if it is not possible, can this feature please be added?
