V.8 Upgrade circle of hell

I have an Orion 7.8.5 install on the
drive of my server. When I try to upgrade to 8.0.1 the install program tries to uninstall the previous version, which it "finds". However once it has done this, it continues to find a previous version which it attempts to uninstall - a black dos screen pops up and writes a new solarwinds folder. But that is it. I have deleted all folders related to Solarwinds on the D; drive, but still get the same error. I don't know what else to do.

Thank you very much, this has been terribly frustrating.
Any idea why these keys would not have been removed by the install/uninstall program?
