Custom MIB Polling - Cisco wireless channel(s)

Question

Either I'm not understanding how to properly execute a MIB walk or I can't find what SNMP OID to add to my Custom MIBs in order to report what 802.11b/g and 802.11a channels my access points are operating on.  I have all my APs set for "Least Congested Channel" and want to report on what channel they're current set at through Orion.  I'm hoping I can return values such as "Channel 6", versus "2437 Mhz".  Or, if reporting in Mhz is the only data stored in the SNMP tables, that I can use Orion to 'convert' "2437 Mhz" to "Channel 6", through rules or modifies.

Can someone help me identify the OIDs for the 802.11b/g and 802.11a channels an AP is operating on?  More importantly, can someone help educate me on why I'm not able to locate this information using the Engineering toolset?  I assume I'm just not doing something "right".

Using the Custom MIB Poller search I was able to find the OID(s) that report what channel a radio interface is on.  I have a bit of a challenge as my Cisco 1130AG access points are dual-radio with 802.11b/g and 802.11a.  Also, since I'm adding each of these wireless AP pollers to all access points, and not all my APs are the same (some are b/g/a dual-radios with 2 VLANs, some are b only, single radio, 1 VLAN) and getting the exact OIDs to report what I want...big challenge.

I added 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.272.1.1.1.6.1.2.1.1 and 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.272.1.1.1.6.1.2.1.2 to all my APs hoping it would state the "Guest VLAN SSID" on all access points, if such SSID was configured - and that worked well for all access points, except a 1200 series I have that is 802.11g (no .a) and whose Trusted/Guest VLAN-IDs differ from the others.  The trusted/guest SSID strings are flipped in the output.

Most of my access points possess these characteristics:

802.11b/g - VLAN 11: Trusted SSID = 'corp'
802.11b/g - VLAN 40: Guest SSID = 'guest'

802.11a - VLAN 11: Trusted SSID = 'corp'
802.11a - VLAN 40: Guest SSID = 'guest'

However, my lone 1200 series has the following:

802.11b/g - VLAN 1: Trusted SSID = 'corp'
802.11b/g - VLAN 2: Guest SSID = 'guest'

On my ...2.1.1 and ...2.1.2 OIDs mentioned above, the trusted and guest SSIDs are flipped.  I imagine that has to do with the .1 and .2 not mapping to the same radio/vlan interfaces as the rest of my access points.  I'm not certain how to overcome this, "flipping" of information.  I'm thinking manual documentation of custom properties would be easier.

Does anyone know if there is an OID that states if the channel is "hard coded" or is set with the "Least Congested Frequency"?

I added the "cd11IfChanSelectEnable" OID, as that was reporting values of "1" and "2", thinking that one meant "Least Congested", but that appears to not be the case.  I'd like to determine if my access points are configured with channels manually determined or through using the scanning feature.  If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it.

I think this also leads me to a feature request.

In addition to the "List Resources" on a Node Details page, I'd like to see some known "SNMP MIBs" button, that will show me what OIDs Orion currently has stored in its database for a particular node - and let me select those and create Custom pollers from that screen.  For example, when I add an access point and if the OID for...Transmit Power is known, show me what Orion CAN poll from the device and let me setup custom polling.
