I've mainly been working with the web interface - which is where others will be using the syslog - but want to know if it can be used to view messages realtime - or if there is a 'tail -f' type functionality.

bracyc, you can launch the Syslog Viewer application (Start - Programs - Solarwinds Orion - Syslog and SNMP Traps) on the server, but there doesn't exist a similar option for the website.
