HOW TO IMPORT STENCILS INTO NTM ???

Hello

I am requesting your help because I do not know how to import stencils into Network Topoly Mapper.

The only stencils I found are .vss and I cannot import them.

Is there any means or it is not possible (only possible to import them into "Network Atlas" ?

When you say stencils, what are you referring to?

Watching. Wishing this were a thing. I've pursued this since 2004. I hope I just missed the info about how to import Microsoft and Cisco Visio Stencils into NTM and Atlas, and it'll show up here.

Not optimistic it'll happen, but one can hope.

I am looking for pictures to import into Solarwinds Network Topolgy Mapper.

By stencils, I mean "icons".

Such like for Cisco: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/about/brand-center/network-topology-icons.html

I do have senticls but they are in .vss format and this format is not recognized when trying to import them.

Is there any tipical ones that Solarwinds is providing ?

I'm still hoping that Solarwinds would just convert NTM and Atlas into plugins for Visio. That way all the basic stencil and drawing program side is already handled so they don't have to reinvent the wheel on that kind of UX stuff and they would just focus on how to tie objects back to your orion database. Visio already has tools available to web publish the images, so they could slip that straight into the web interface and be light years ahead of where they are right now.

The typical ones are the default using common industry symbols and SolarWinds colors (orange!). You're free to import more, but they'll have to be images not VSS.

When you say the "typical ones are the default using common industry symbols and SolarWinds colors" are you referring to the stencils which are already which already appearing (via the "browse" button and that are proposed by default ?). Do you have any link to import others images (not .vss) ? Thanks for help, I appreciate. Dany
