VPN Connections are showing percent Utilization in thousands %

Hello People, we are using Solarwinds 9.5 and when we are looking at the percent utilization of tunnel the graph is showing the value in thousands %, for example..27000 %, 28000% and etc.etc.

Could you please know if it is a bug or there is some option that I can adjust and solve it?

I appreciate ours comments.

Are you using 64 bits counters? What type of device is this?

Is this in the default iftable or via a UnDP?

If it is from the default iftable, check to see what the reported Interface speeds are. Tunnels such as GRE tunnels by nature are hard to allocate a specific value for.

If this is a UnDP then check the MIB description and a test value that is returned to see if you need to use the Transformation feature to convert the value to a true percentage

Hi,

Check the maximum bandwidth for the interface on the "edit properties" page. It might be too low for your VPN. You can manually override the maximum bandwidth for the interface to the actual and then your percentages should make more sense.
