Network Sonar discovery failing when SNMP community contains special character '@'

Hello,

I'm discovering a bunch of Cisco routers and switches, all with the same SNMP community (which includes the '@'; character). Most of them are being properly discovered, the other bunch are only discovered via ICMP. If I use an SNMP community without the special character, then the devices are properly discovered via snmp.

Any ideas? Should I start looking at a possible Cisco IOS issue? or is there a NPM limitation with certain Cisco devices/IOS?

If some of them are working with the @ in place then it must be an IOS issue for the ones that won't work.

@´ as SNMP string, it doesn't work; but if I use '@'; (just one character) then it works. I also used combinations with other letters but as soon as I use two '@'; symbols within the snmp string, SNMP fails.

i.e.

Sun12d@y --> works

Sun12d@y@ --> fails, no matter where you put the special character.

Devices where I get this behavior:

Cisco 3750, 3560, 2960 with 12.2 Train IOS.
