Does anyone know where the Physical and Virtual Hardware information displayed in the Node details section within NPM for each node are held within the database so that I can report on them?
Did you ever find an answer to this. I am looking for the same thing and can't seem to find it. Thanks.
inside NPM it does not report physical/virtual as it is just a port being reported to it from Microsoft. With the new way you can virtualize the dual LAN ports on servers you could have it set up where the only ones you see are virtual.
Not sure if this was the direction your question was going but I thought I would offer this to see if we can get on track with your issue.
No I did not really find the answer I wanted.
What I did was to create a custom report showing the VM Host information against each server, then assuming that the other servers without this information were not virtualised
