Can Orion monitor cable modems and DSL modems when they going through say AT&T, Verizon, and Local providers? If so how? TY!

That is a great question which I don't have an answer for.

Well, it really depends on what you want to monitor.

Are you trying to monitor hardware health and other things that you'd need SNMP for? That's really dependent on whether or not the device is SNMP capable.

Are you just trying to ping it and see if it's up?

Are you looking to monitor up time with a ping? Also will your provider allow you access to the network.

If you wish to monitor DSL availability, depending of the model, you can configure a Dyn DNS and add it to NPM
