Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
SNMP and ICMP

Is there anyway to allow Orion to monitor devices only using SNMP. At this time we have our Orion Server outside of our corporate Firewalls and no access is allowed through. We aim to move the server inside and utilize the SNMP Plug on the FW. The problem is our Security dept will not allow ICMP thorough the FW,,, not even for our Orion Server. So with no ICMP enabled devices show in warning state. I have heard about the Additional Engines that can be purchased but I cannot find any info on them. Does anyone have any Ideas ?????
Cheers
Regards Mick

It sounds like you've explained the reasoning enough and they still don't get it. I'd go to a higher layer of management and explain that you're looking for 1 IP to go through.
If that doesn't work, add in another NIC and do what you need to do behind the firewall with that instead.
