I've set up a Universal Poller inside NPM to poll Volume information from a NetApp 2040 device. Now, all of the volumes show a numeric value that represents the percentage used. The only problem is our Snapshot volume shows a number that is greater than 100%. I've gone into the Resource on the page and unselected the volumes I do not wish to display. My thinking here was that the volumes would then not be alerted on, much like if I was to do a list resources (which only returns the interfaces on the device and not the volumes). This is not the case though as the alert I've written still generates an alert that a volume is at critical. My question is two fold. How do I exclude certain volumes from being polled either within Advanced Alert manager or within the web console? Also, how do I get the e-mail/netperfmon event to display which particular volume appears to be over the threshold? Thanks in advance.
