I've been trying to find a quick way to build an on-the-fly report of the sum of multiple interfaces transmit/receive in a chart. It seems like the simplest of things but I've never been able to easily do this without a separate chart for transmit and receive.
Example: We have redundant routers for everything we do, traffic flows through both at any one time. We are often asked "What's the total traffic for customer X over the past month?". In Scrutinizer this was extremely easy, we could search for the relevant interfaces, select them, run a volume report, done. In Orion this is a monumental task with no way to easily summarize the same statistic for multiple interfaces or a way to easily just build a report on the fly like this. Is this functionality available in NTA-only, or are we just completely out of luck with SolarWinds on this one? Seems like a very common thing, but maybe I'm crazy, we're only using NPM at this time but I've used NTA in the past.
