Issues passing SNMP test

We are having issues connecting via SNMP to CISCO UCS Router. The test return as failed. Does anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting; I know wireshark could help but because of system policy that might not be possible. Solar winds is running as a VM on the UCS. For more background we get successful test to other switches in our network, but the UCS routers and a switch here and there refuse to connect. If anyone has any troubleshooting ideas, or a link to a manual that might contain information relating to snmpv3 configuration, it would be greatly appreciated.

Check your SNMP settings on the remote device. Is it version 2 or 3? Then you'll need to make sure you have right community string (version 2) or right username, passwords and encryption details (version 3). Also check to see if the solarwinds box has been allowed SNMP access to the device.

Another thing to check it if there's something like a firewall blocking traffic between Solarwinds and device.
