Orion not discoverign device is Cisco router

I ran a discovery with the proper community string by Orion did not recognize that it was a 3845 model Cisco router.

So it just went into the Unknown category. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot? Thanks.

Based on what you mentioned in the post it appears SNMP is not getting through to the device. Are their any ACL's or firewall rules blocking SNMP between the Orion server and the device? Do you have a MIB Browser anywhere and can confirm SNMP is working properly or can you look at a wireshark packet trace?
