APC ATS - Monitoring Power Outlets

We had an issue over the weekend with an apc ats switching down all the outlets on all on the device. My question was is there anyway for NPM to monitor not only an APC ATS but also the power outlets to see if they are on or shut down.

You'll need to set up a Universal Device Poller to do this. First thing you'll need to work out is what MIB's you need to poll for. Run a SNMP walk to the UPS (snmpwalk.exe is in the SolarWindsinstall directory) and save the resulting data. Then the pain starts

You'll need to trawl through the resulting output to locate the relevant MIB values, and make a note of them, as you'll need to use this information to set up the poller.

If you get stuck, the UPS vendor should be able to provide you with the information you need. Or you can try searching an online MIB database such as:
