Separate web server from polling engine?

Is it possible to have the Database, polling engine, and Web server on Different servers?

I'm finding the web interface to be a bit sluggish. Moving SQL to a remote server has helped, but I'm curious as to whether I can separate the polling engine and the web server.

If you have the SLX license, you can purchase an additional web engine install for $500. It works quite well, though reports and custom table file need to be synchronized with the main poller.
