Putting Alert on amount of CRC errors on a HP switch

Hi,

I am looking to put an alert on the amount of CRC errors and which interface it is coming from using the Orion Network Performance Monitor. Has anyone done this? Do you have to put the alert on a specific port on the switch or can you have the switch just be monitored for CRC errors? I am new to Orion and am having to self teach myself everything. I have configured many other alerts for different things before but I can not seem to find where/how to monitor this specific thing. Any help would be appreciated.

This is how I accomplish this. Notice that the Trigger condition is set to ANY while the reset is set to ALL. If you don't pay attention and set the reset to ANY if you are getting XMIT errors but not RCV the alert will instantly reset and then immediately retrigger. Feel free to use what ever error level you want this just happens to be mine.
