Hi there Crojas,

If you have SQL Server Enterprise manager you can go into the SW database and blank out the Admin account password field in the Accounts table. Then you have an admin account with no password. Login to the SW web page with the admin account and change the password to whatever you like.

NOTE: Do not enter the password directly in SQL Server Enterprise manager. This will not work. Orion does a little bit of light crypto on the passwords so that they are not in plain text in the database.

There may be a better, quicker, or quickly better way to reset the admin password. But you'll have to wait for someone smarter than me to respond (this shouldn't take very long).

You can download an unsupported utility called "Orion Account Manager" from the Customer Area.
support.solarwinds.net/.../

This utility will let you reset any web password including Admin.
