advanced alert receive traffic not in kbps

Question

Hi, i have tried basic alert with great success, now i will add some aditional filters, so i started using advanced alerts, my problem now is that transmit and recieve traffic is in bytes only, i.e

Current traffic load of this interface is:   
Received : 65511.49
Transmitted : 181794.7

When i was using basic alerts, the traffic was in kbps, i tried coping the exact string from basic to advance alert email with no success,

what should i check?

Oh, you'll just have to use an SQL query. For example you'd replace ${InBps} with:

${SQL:Select (${Inbps}/1024) from interfaces where interfaceid=${InterfaceID}}

I know you'd probably like the advanced alert variables to work the same as the basic alert variables but at least a workaround is possible.

I mean, the variables used in body of the alert message:

Current traffic load of this interface is:  
Received : ${InBps}
Transmitted : ${OutBps}

The exact 3 lines used in basic show traffic in kbps, and in advance show bytes

What string are you referring to? Couldn't you simply add a few more zeroes to the condition in the advanced alert?
