I can't seem to understand why my EnergyWise Readiness Report shows my Cisco Catalyst 3750 as not supporting EnergyWise. The IOS version I'm running is the absolute latest.
We will reach out to you offline to look into and resolve
In case someone wants to know the answer without searching the forum, there is a KB about this:
I'm being told my device does not support EnergyWise. It is 12.2(50)SE2 and does support EnergyWise. How do I fix this?
http://support.solarwinds.com/kbase/ProblemDetail.cfm?ID=1158
There is a known bug in Orion NPM 9.5 where 12.2(50)SE2 is not recognized.
To correct this invalid error message and enable EnergyWise on 12.2(50)SE2:
Update NPM_DVC_PROPERTIES<br />SET RecognValue = '$regEx:Version 12.2\([.0-9]*\)SE(1|2) , $regEx:Version 12.2\([.0-9]*\)SG , $regEx:Version 12.2\([.0-9]*\)HAEFT3'<br />WHERE PropName = 'EnergyWiseIOSVersion'
Should this change take effect immediately or does it require a poll or rediscovery of the device? Needless to say my IOS is stll listed as not supporting energy wise.
I would try to do a rediscovery and then re-poll
I even restarted all the Solarwinds services but still no joy. Any other ideas?
