Hi, I currently have a Windows 2000 SP4 server running Orion NPM 7.8.5. I would like to upgrade to NPM 8.5 on Windows 2003 SP2 x64, however, I would like to use the same box. I planned on taking a backup of the database, as well as all of the files on the current server, blowing it all away, reinstalling Windows 2003 x64 on the server along with 8.5 + our management packs.
My question/concern is, when I run NPM 8.5.1 configuration on the newly installed server, will it have any problems converting the database which at this point would be a version 7.8.5 database? Is this the route I need to take?
