I was reading where you can set up a DB Maint plan and have Orion compact DB. It says SQL Server Agent must be running in order to execute your plan. My question is does the SQL agent need to be running on the poller or on the DB server?
That runs on the DB server.
On a related note, do the pollers have to be stopped or can they still be running while the database compact is running on the SQL server?
The pollers do not have to be stopped.
