Alert WITHOUT showing in Active/All Alerts Page

Hi all,

Is there a way in Orion to configure a triggered alert to perform an action but NOT show up on the "Active Alerts" or "All Triggered Alerts" page/object?  I want to personally be notified of some things that happen real-time (not manually running a report), but I do not need everyone else that uses the platform to have to see or acknowledge any alerts.

I am running Orion Platform 2015.1.3, NCM 7.4, NPM 11.5.2

I've found no way to do that either torquenut, but I have need to keep certain Alert resource views kept clear also.

I use the SDK and a powershell script on a one-minute escalation action to auto-acknowledge alerts that I want to filter away from the NOC's Active Alerts view resource (which is set to only show unacknowledged alerts).  They still show up in the All Active Alerts page, but only SW Admins in my enterprise access that page so once it's ack'd it's effectively off the radar for most users.

I wonder also if for certain conditions you might trigger the alert to send an email to you (or other notification action) and then set the alert to auto-reset after one minute, which would clear it entirely from the Alert views, though your trigger condition might need to be written in a way to prevent the alert from continuing to fire after each clear...
