Renamed server, now no devices in Manager
dsullinger
I had to rename my server, once I did this and tried to open the web page, it said I had to run the wizard again. Once completed, the Orion home page opened fine, but now when I open System Manager, it ask which polling engine I want to use. The old server name is in red and the new server name is in black. It doesn't matter which one I select, there are no nodes in System maanger once it opens.
How can I fix this?
REPLY - Ok, since I couldn't reply to my own message, I'll just add on here at the bottom. I found a self solution, I used the "Polling Engine Load Balancer" and moved the nodes over to the new polling engine.

Just be aware that any alerts you have setup will no longer be working until you move
them to the new server as well. You can do this by running a custom query in the database manager. Solarwinds support can walk you through this, or you can search these
forums for the query to run (I posted it several months ago).
