High CPU on SQL server

I'm having some issues with CPU spikes on my SQL server. The only DB that's on it is the Solarwinds DB. The spikes last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Does anyone have any process counters or other diagnostics that I can do to figure out why the SQL process is doing this?

We are experiencing exact same issues. Upgraded to most recent releases on NPM, NTA, NCM and IPAM over the last month. Its driving our Data Man team nuts!

Hi All-

Is your SQL Server on the same server as your Orion NPM? If so, this is not recommended.
