Recommended Syslog & SNMP Trap Filters

I've got a fairly new NPM/NCM install running and I've got most of my network devices configured to send syslog and snmp traps to my Orion server. I'd like to get an idea of what you all are filtering out for alerting or trending purposes. Some of my critical switches and routers, I'd like to know link-up/down notifications.

Basically, I thought it would be nice if we could share what common things we like to keep a close watch on using syslog and snmp. Thanks!
