Can a wildcard Cert be used for NPM web interface

I have looked and have not seen any posts stating a wildcard cert cannot be use for NPM but I did see where IP Monitor does not allow this can anyone tell me if NPM allows Wildcard Certs?

Yes, you can use a Wildcard certificate with NPM. I'm using one myself (and have been for years) and have had no issues.
