Monitor Windows Servers

Is it possible to monitor MS Windows servers via WMI instead of SNMP? We are no longer allowed to use SNMP v2c or below, so I need to use WMI. Mostly, I need to monitor availability, memory, and disk space. Can I do this with Orion 9 or Cirrus 8?

Yes, but you need the Application Performance Module, which can do WMI. In soon-to-be-released v2.0, it will have a generic WMI Performance Counter functionality so that you can poll any WMI counter.

Woot, I just received APM. I have it installed and patched to SP4, but I am assuming that I ill have to wait for version 2 until I can monitor Windows components. While I am waiting for version 2 to be released, can you point me to a good WMI counter resource? Somthing where I could look up the value I am interested in. For example, if I want to create a monitor for harddrive space, CPU utilization, and memory usage. A nice cross reference of some kind would be really nice.
