Cisco router not listing all resources when list resources is selected

Hi Everyone,

I have an issue with a Cisco backbone router that isn't allowing all resources to be listed, so we can add new interfaces to the device for monitoring. Is/has anyone else had this same issue?

What if you do a sonar discovery against the device...does that workaround work?

Yes, it passes SNMP testing.

the discovery failed and says to check the logs. I did a list resources and still not showing all the resources associated with this device.

Sounds to me you may have a restrictive SNMP view set against the SNMP credential you are using. You mind sharing the SNMP config you are using (you can obviously block out any private information before submitting it)? I've noticed that a lot of the sample SNMP configs for Cisco devices have a SNMP view that limits the credential to block some OID's that Orion uses for monitoring. Since most people will google to get the correct config they will use these samples and thus have the view applied. It may just be a matter of adjusting/removing the view applied to that credential.
